Processor power and planning of the area to be mapped in a web browser

vg1

Why does Dronlink need so much CPU power to plan a mapping area in a web browser? The slightest shift, rotation or change of flight direction requires a powerful processor, I don't know why. It is very tedious. Can't you draw the mapping area first and then count all the parameters? In Pix4DCaptura it works much better.

The current map planning was optimized for relatively small maps (less than 30ac) and prioritizes responsive, instant visual feedback to changes, but obviously that breaks down when the maps become larger. There is a whole list of changes that we need to make to better support large maps (and large missions in general) and it will happen eventually. We are also planning to create a casual mission planner (that will hopefully work in the native app offline as well) which will address some of these concerns as well.

And that's good news. I keep my fingers crossed that it will happen quickly and that it works as smoothly as in Pix4DCapture or DJI GS Pro.
    Thanks
