Dji Mini 2 verbindet nicht mehr

Manta Manta
Habe die Beta Version installiert. Aber ich kann die drone nicht verbinden. Zeigt immer disconnect. Auch habe ich die App neu installiert, alles kein erfolg. In der Vergangenheit hat es allerdings funktioniert. Mit der DJI Fly App funktioniert es aktuell auch. Ich bin mit meinem Latein am Ende.

Sounds like you need to uninstall the beta for now:

    Hi Jim,

    same here.
Yesterday I wanted to start the Dronelink app in my Android phone but it did not start (there was some kind of error). Therefore I deinstalled the whole Dronelink app and re-installed a version that I have from NewYears when the Beta version was released (the one that supported the Mini2 then).
Then after re-install, Dronelink told me that I need to upgrade and gives me two options: Upgrade from Play Store or from direkt installation. Playstore option made no sense for me, as it did noit show a Upgrade option there. Therefore I chose the direct installation.
    Since then yesterday I have version 3.3.0 (2185), Kernel 3.3.1. Running on a German Samsung S21Ultra, Android 12, Mini2.
Yesterday, during two path missions it told me each "Drone disconnected":

Today, I cannot even connect to the Mini2 anymore.
There seems to be a major problem in the newest versions...
Can I somehow downgrade, because in the first days of 2022, it worked fine for me in that Beta...

Need to correct my previous comment:
With 3.3.0 (2185), Kernel 3.3.1 I can now connect again to the Mini2.
Earlier today, I had the version 3.4.0 (186), Kernel 3.4.0 on my phone - then it was not working.

Now I am also not quite sure which version I had on my phone running yesterday, when I was able to setup the path missions, but then during the missions, I lost connection to the drone. But I think it was 3.3.0.

I now opted out of the Beta program, in order to be sure to run only productive versions.

Seems like it’s only with the three newer released drones which were added for Android only devices. I’ve been using the Beta versions for over 6 months with my MA2 and iPad without any issues. Curious to see when the IOS SDK comes out for those same three drones if any issues. Just some thoughts.

Also you don’t need to opt out of Beta testing. You can go back to an older version that worked which should be listed in the Test app. You can just delete the Beta app without opting out and install the production app from the App Store or do a direct APK download.

    Enjoy..

If you look at the thread I linked above, I believe it is an issue with the 3.4.0 beta on Android 11 devices. I think many people installed the beta to get early access to these drones and they probably really shouldn't be in the beta.

Yes, but FYI, I am running Android 12, not 11.
As I said, after I opted out of the beta program and installed the 3.3.0 APK that you have linked in the other thread, I can now connect to my Mini2 again.

Nevertheless, during running two path missions, I lost connection to the drone also. See links above.
But to be fully precise: It could also have been because my mini-USB-Interface in my phone seesm to have a loose contact recently :-(
Maybe that would also explain the stalled mission...?

If the phone disconnects from the RC then the mission stops.
