DJI Mini 2 ISO setting does not work
Hello Everyone,
I have a plan with several orbits. At the moment it's to dark to use it with ISO 100 which the drone automatically uses. So I set an ISO 200 command in front of the plan. But the pictures of the orbits are taken with ISO 100. Is this a special problem with the Mini 2 or does Dronelink set the camera mode to full auto when camera capture is used in orbit?
I searched for the problem but I didn't find others having this problem, even with other drones.
Here is the plan: https://app.dronelink.com/tino/my-first-project/plan/FicgNjzq3ikPfsrGPqVt/dXE1MG1i3146g3yLNk81
Kind Regards
Tino

I don’t use the Auto Capture function. As usual there may be several different ways to set it up. Just a suggestion but the way I would set it up is with the camera settings for photo intervals. This way you can have it take timed intervals with the camera settings you want. ISO, shutter speed, white balance, FPS, file format etc. It may be an issue with DL but not sure since I don’t use it.
Also the auto capture may be using what the DJI Fly was set to the last time it was opened. All settings stick/ carry over to the DL app so if you have it set to 100 in the Fly app it may be what it’s using. You may try setting the all the cameras settings you want in the Fly app first then close it and start DL and try. You won’t need the camera settings at the start of plan if done this way. I believe it should use all those settings once the auto capture is added. Good luck.
It doesn't look like you are setting the camera into manual mode first.
Yes, I didn't because I want to use auto exposure with fixed ISO. This should be possible I think. Or does this not work in Fly App, too? I will try.
Seems like you should add a Shutter Priority command then:
If you set to auto camera mode in DJI app you will see that you can not change the ISO, Shutter etc. That’s the purpose of full auto mode, it’s one or the other. Since you can add a command in DL I’m not sure if DL would work if you set to Auto exposure and added an ISO value. As I stated above, I use Manual set up for my shots whether photos or videos. This way you can set it up to do exactly what you want with all the camera settings needed. I’ve tried auto exposure and they usually don’t come out very good overall. Great results with manual camera settings with my MA2. Good luck.
Shutter priority I don't want to use because it prevents shorter shutter speeds and without aperture control from ISO 200 it has only one stop left bevor the picture gets over exposed.
But then it's no bug of dronelink and not wrong settings I made. It's not possible because DJI does not support manual ISO in auto mode. Thank You for this information.
