Mavic Air 2 good on Smart Controller, iOS not so much

I know a lot has been written on Mavic Air 2 but I have no idea what is current.

I happily use Dronelink on my DJI Smart Controller and Mavic Air 2. All is well.

For a reason I bought a "regular" controller to use with my iPhone.

I have "elite" account. I think that is what it says. $95 or so a year ago.

I try to use the iPhone for DroneLink and it won't let me connect to my MA2 saying to Upgrade your plan to enable Mavic Air 2 support.

Really? OK on Smart Controller? I have to pay more for iOS?

Is it because of Beta? I tried putting Beta on my iPhone and I get some Test Flight that does not work.

You should be able to use your Air 2 with iOS on the Elite (2021) plan. What version do you have installed?

3.3.0 is the newest production version. 3.4.0 is the newest Beta. I have the MA2 and no issues when connecting with my iPad Mini 5 for over a year. You may want to delete the DL app and install again. Make sure you allow everything when starting up the app for the fist time. Also make sure nothing else is running in the background. Should be no issue.

Which iPhone are you using. I believe it needs to be at least an iPhone 7 or newer. Hope this helps.
