Basic Mapping, Basic mapping with terrain follow, Advanced mapping

Piero Barbero

Good morning, I have bought a dji mini 2 and i want to experiment fotogrammetry with dronelink. The features in that I'm most interested is the mapping tool but I can't understand differences from the 3 versions in the different promotions (Basic Mapping in hobbyst "elite", Basic mapping with terrain follow in businnes "starter" and Advanced mapping in businnes "growth") can you explane me what change from the different promotions?

    • If you are flying for fun and don't need terrain follow, then all you need is Elite.
    • If you are flying for business and/or need terrain follow, then you need Starter.
    • If you need any of the advanced mapping features (custom drone heading, photo type, multiple camera support, distance spacing, or custom capture speed), then you need Growth.

Hi Jim, first post here so forgive me if I screw something up.

I've recently become a dronelink user and am trying to map a very hilly reserve near me.  Also found it a bit confusing what functions I would need for what I want to do. I'm on the Elite plan currently, is terrain follow necessary to get accurate maps of hills? Is there any way to edit the height of the borders to get an angled flight path?

    Thanks in advance
