Air 2s No camera view when re-starting DL app just black screen - work around included in post.
Dji Air 2s - Samsung A30 Android 11, DJI Fly 1.5.9
Situation: Run a mission or a flight, close DL app, open app again and no camera view on screen just black where the image should be.
Quick Fix: Go to apps in android, force stop of DL, then re-open and all works fine.
History: This has only happened since I upgraded from Fly 1.4.4 to 1.5.9 (1.4.4 super stable on the Samsung A30 in 'smooth' mode not 'HD' mode as known issue with Fly app crashing)
1.5.9 is stable in both 'Smooth' and 'HD' mode, currently running in 'HD' mode (will test in 'Smooth' mode when I get a chance)
I am confident that this is an issue introduced by the Fly app not DL. I will test 'smooth' mode in Fly 1.5.9 as stated, if it's still an issue I'll revert to Fly 1.4.4 and test again.
I will report my findings here when I get a chance, I have only run single battery maps (5 of them) on Fly 1.5.9 (only upgraded Fly 2 days ago)
Will also test on multi battery missions using Fly 1.5.9 in 'HD' without closing DL and report back.
(In both Fly 1.4.4 and 1.5.9) when running a DL mapping mission if I touch the view screen during a mission it sets the camera angle to 0 (front facing) and continues the mission taking sky shots, during a mission I can access menu and settings without an issue but I have mechanics fingers so they often miss the tiny buttons and hit the screen.
I work around this by not touching a thing during a mission and it's all good. Don't know if it's a bug or simply how DL works, and the work around is simple so I can live with it :)
Cheers, Ben.
