How to insert a component before resuming mission

Is it possible to insert a component so that that component can be run before resuming the mission when using DJI way points?

for example you have a mission, and you have to come in for a battery swap, before the DJI waypoint mission is resumed, I need to insert a component and run it first.

    You can just have it as a separate mission and run it before you resume the first mission. Or just don't use DJI waypoints.
