Start with an empty plan how to start a waypont or a marker

Johank

Two days ago I bought the hobbyist-premium version. Now I make my first steps in making a new plan on the web version. When I create a new empty plan I can set the reference point and a starting point (called destination ???). But after that I cannot find the method to add the next waypoint or marker. I can add a point of interest but cannot set direction of the camera and so on. Of course I can use a template and modify that to my needs, but I am just curious how to add the (first) waypoint in an empty plan.

What you need is to start a path, ot a destination. Then you can sdd. I'd strongly recommend watching the YouTube videos on how to get started.

Thank you for your quick reply. I allready watched quit a few videos, but none of them start with an empty plan. I allready added a destination (= starting point) but can not a marker, nor do I have the possibility to add a path. Is it a menu option? Probably I have to search for the correct videos, butI thought adding a waypoint in an empty plan is the first step after adding the start point.

EDIT: found a way to add a path. It adds immediately two way points. I will try (and error) furthermore

Just click on “new component” and add anything in that list. “Path” will add a couple waypoints to start then add more as needed. A ton of functions/ features you can look through, add, change, adjust etc….

    Hope this helps.
