Upgrade from premium to Elite plan - Lost terrain follow function ?
Hello,
I used to be able to do some terrain follow mapping missions with my premium account. Since I upgraded to an elite account, I can't do that anymore.
Is there a way I could get this feature back ?
I don't understand why I was able to do this before, and why I can't anymore, since I somehow paid for this too in the premium account.
Thanks a lot for your work!!!

Your previous account (Premium 2020) had a few features that are no longer offered in the current hobbyist plans. I can downgrade your account back to Premium 2020 and issue a refund if you prefer to go back.
Hello,
First, I wanted to thank you for your quick response, truely appreciated.
I agree to go back to my premium 2020 account. Can you please contact me through my email address ?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Done. You can email support@dronelink.com if you have any issues with the downgrade.
Hi Jim,
I stumbled on this forum post when trying to figure out why I lost terrain follow capabilities after upgrading to the elite plan. I've been a premium member since Oct 2020 and being able to have the terrain follow features is invaluable for me. I'm a plant ecology PhD student, and I use dronelink to map hard to reach mountain top plant communities for study and conservation. My funds are tight, and I can't afford the professional plan to get a feature I had with my premium hobby plan. If downgrading back to premium will bring back terrain follow, then I would like to do that as it is an essential feature for me to have. I only upgraded to elite to try the facade feature to map and model mountain faces with greater detail, but I can do without that whereas I can't do without terrain follow. Thanks for any help you can give me!
I've noticed the same issue. I've lost features that I specifically paid for to have, like terrain follow and capture speed to name a couple. I have a hobbyist elite account, why have I lost the use of these key features?
The answer is still the same as before.
@Jim McAndrew, I have emailed, but got a reply saying that my account doesn't include support so they may just close the ticket with no reply, and then mention to use these online forums to state my issue. So I've got both bases covered. I ask again, why was my account downgraded and I've lost features I've paid to have? Correction from my previous post once I checked my receipts, I'd purchased a Premium Elite Hobbiest account in Nov 2022. - Thanks
The generic auto-reply doesn’t mean you won’t get a response. It is there for people that are using email to receive support on questions about the product. Billing issues are always handled via email, reglardless off the plan level.
