Encountered problem with your APP on the DJI Mini 2 → “transmission signal weak”
Hi Jim,
I have just purchased the newly released APP (Premium version) for the “DJI Mini 2”. After installing the APP (app-arm64-v8a.prod-release.pdk) and using it with my Mini 2, the following warning message came up → “transmission signal weak” – an annoying problem already discussed earlier on as far as I realized when searching for some advice to solve the problem. But none of the suggestions given there to fix the problem actually helped. I even deinstalled & reinstalled the APP again – but nothing happened, the warning signal message remained unchanged. According to the DJI Fly App all conditions for a secure take off were met (strong signal etc.), everything more than perfect. But your Dronelink APP is still warning “transmission signal weak”. Now, dear Jim, please tell me what we/you can do about this problem, what would you suggest? Just in case that nothing can be done in order to fix that problem the APP must be considered to be faulty and is therefore absolutely useless for me. Then I should have to claim for refund of the $ 49.99.

Hi Hans-Joachim Freund Here is a link with some info. This is an issue which has been discussed a lot over a year or more. They still haven’t fixed this message but as long as you don’t have any messages/ errors when flying with DJI fly app them it’s ok. It’s only when using Android OS Devices, not IOS devices. What I’ve read it’s with other 3rd party apps as well. Only way to get rid of it is to use an IOS device. Since it’s been a year or more I would not count on DJI fixing anytime soon but who knows.

I have the same with mini2.
My understanding is that it does not affect the capability to fly correctly.
Hope it's still true with that aircraft.
