DJI Air 2S Camera not Resetting to 90

Eric Hiti

While flying a mapping mission with the DJI Air 2S i had to do a battery swap mid mission. After the drone took off for the continuation of the mission the camera/gimble did not reposition itself to the -90 degree angle and began to take photo's at 0 degrees. I paused the mission and resumed multiple times but the issue continued. Had to manually reposition the camera to finish the mission.

Please share your mission plan, and if possible indicate where you performed the battery swap so we can test.

Battery Swap happened around 20 minutes into the mission. The same issue happened on multiple missions, each time a battery was swapped the camera wouldn't reset to the -90 angle and would just start taking pictures with the camera at 0.

@Jim, this same thing happened to me on the Air2S, once.  Could not recreate it, but I do think that first battery swap that I was already beeping for low battery and then took control via the joysticks.  Upon resuming after batter swap, that is when the camera would not go back to -90.  Subsequent battery swaps, I did not have the same behavior.  Feel free to look at my completed missions last week with Air2S.
