Android or iOS and Offline Missions
Hi, is the Dronelink application more reliable on Android or iOS ???
The other issue. I saw that it is possible to do offline missions. Is it possible or is it very risky? I have to do several maps in Chilean Patagonia. There is practically no signal in those places.
Thanks a Lot.

IOS devices work better overall. Many Android OS devices will work but there are so many manufactured devices out there which use Android OS it really depends on which model.
You can only load Onboard Waypoints to your drone if your drone has that ability. The last drone to have that ability was I believe the M2P. There are others but they’re older models. Yes, it can be risky to use Onboard Waypoints if the mission is running at a low altitude or in an area with many obstacles like tress, building’s etc. If you lose connection to the drone it will continue the mission but you will have no control or video feed to see where it is and what it may be flying towards. Running any mission on Goggle Earth before actual flights would be recommended if flying any plan within close proximity to any obstacles, low altitude etc….
Hope this helps, enjoy. Mike……
