License plans - Permanent or reduced functions
Good night,
If I purchase any kind of the Hobbyist plans, all the functions that are offered at this moment for them, are they going to be operational forever or can they be reduced in the future if those plans suffer any type of modification?
I have seen several videos on youtube telling that there are functions that time ago were available on a premium plan and now are only available on the bussiness plans.
If I purchase now a license and it exists the possibility of losing functions in the future, Dronelink is not for me.
Can you clarify me this point?

We have never removed functionality from legacy plans.

We have had 3 versions of the current plans. For example, Basic (2020), Basic (2021) and the current Basic plan that is offered on our pricing page. We change the features in our plans regularly, but when we do, we version the old plan (and typically add a year number to the name to distinguish it from the latest version). Any user that signed up for a plan keeps the features that were in that plan for the time period when they bought it. This exlains why you will see some people on Premium, some on Premium (2021), and some on Premium (2020) on the leaderboard, for example.
You should never rely on outdated videos from third parties to make purchase decisions. Our pricing page always has the latest, up-to-date information on which features are in each plan (compare hobbyist plans here and business plans here).
If you have already purchased an account and your plan is no longer listed on our pricing page, you can always see which features are in your plan by following these instructions.
