Auto Capture Interval, mapping and other missions
Hi, first off thanks for making such an awesome software....so fun.
It seems the auto-capture interval would need to be a dynamic setting based on the overlap you input for the map and the speed of the drone. As a test I just dialed up and down the overlap settings and the photo interval stays at 2 seconds no matter what. How or does this dynamically change? I saw a post about a facade mission using a trucking shot, which I tried the same idea and got into some fun math to figure out my overlap and such, but seems an automated dynamic interval is necessary. Is this a constraint because it uses the options from the DJI software which only allows certain intervals? Oh i am using PH4Pv2 btw

ah ok, so the photo interval is static and the drone speed is the dynamic variable.
To confirm, the max speed shown in the component is just a cap and not the speed at which the drone will fly?
With the capture interval being the static variable, what is the best approach if you need to dial down the max speed due to lighting conditions? I know you can change the interval, but at this point you are making an educated guess and possibly introducing motion blur?
Also along similar lines, can you program a set amount of photos for an orbit (i.e. 36 for a 10 degree overlap) or do you need to calculate the circumference, and divide drone speed by photo interval over this distance?

The photo interval is also a "minimum" setting, so if you set a low max speed, it will increase the photo interval automatically.
We just released some new options on Maps to allow slowing the drone down during capture (while still flying fast between points):

Another option for slowing down to take shots (if your plan allows it) is to convert something to an inspection mission, which provides a lot of options for that sort of thing.

I think this is my last speed related question, can you set two markers (or have two waypoints) establishing a distance then tell the drone to fly that distance in a set amount of time? It would then adjust the speed according to this time?
No, what are you trying to accomplish?
I am trying to capture a series of 20-30 second video clips for stock purposes. If I could select a path I want to capture then set the duration to 30 seconds, it would calculate the speed for me to do a slow reveal or other similar outcome of the landscape.
Just change the speed and watch it in the mission preview. It will tell you exactly how long it will take.

One last thing, just confirming most all of the features you mentioned above are part of the growth business plan and not the starter plan correct?
