The inspection feature

Tony Simek

Can anyone tell me a little bit about what the inspection feature does and how it works in real life practice?  I went to try it, but see my hobbyist plan does not include it.  I am not opposed to the monthly fee of a better account, but not sure I would really need all those features.

I will probably end up buying it, just to have some fun though.  I would like to see how this works inspecting our RC field area.  Could be fun.

It is designed to fly to specific points, come to a full stop, and take one or more actions at the point (changing gimbal angles, changing camera settings, taking pictures / videos, etc). Since most inspection missions involve hundreds or thousands of points, mission planning inspection missions is intended to be augmented with scripting / import from Agisoft, or via conversion from other component types (such as the Map component, for people that want to do triggered capture):

Thank you Jim for the detailed reply!  Ok, this is a lot more capable and amazing that I need now for my knowlege pursuits.  I will upgrade to enterprise and try this out when I am mentally up for it.

So many features in my current hobbyist level that I have yet to learn.  Dronelink is not just amazingly fun, but it is serious software.  I truly respect what you have built.  Thank you!

On the other hand, this is too cool to wait on.  : ) Just signed up for Enterprise Growth and going to see what I can do with this.
