Camera path versus drone path
Hello,
Can we display camera path in edit mode ?
If no, can we draw a camera path instead of a drone path ?
Have a look at this mission.
The drone path does not follow the river, because if so, the camera does not always show the river.
Marker 5 set with
Drone heading Reference "path", Gimbal pitch -60° Reference "horizon" and Gimbal Heading set to "Heading"
Marker 5 is the beginning of the video.
POI C is used with waypoint R, R is the end of the video.
I do not know how to adjust the drone path precisely with several curves, to follow the meanders of a river.
Camera view path is different from Dronepath.

Cannot view that link so not sure how to help with specific instructions to maybe fix your actual plan. Did the use the “share” feature in Dronelink web app. It should put the entire link here.
You can Set “drone heading” to rotate it in direction you want so it keeps the camera looking along the River while flying the path. I’ve used this feature to keep the Forest road in cameras view while the road curves back and forth so when riding my motorcycle it keeps me in the shot. Same idea as following a River. It can be set from 0 which is obviously straight forward to 359 degrees which is 1 degree to the left side of aircraft. Obviously 180° would be pointing drone backwards while still flying forward on the path. Set the drones heading in degrees and reference to path. Also set the interpolation to curved and adjust it to more quickly or more slowly start rotating at the desired point to get your desired look. You may need to set a marker before each drone heading change as I did so it doesn’t start interpolating way too soon. Also will need to add a marker and set it to 0° heading after so it goes back to following the path where needed. It takes some work but works well once setup as you will see in my mission.
Maybe this will work for you. Good luck.

Check this plan and see if it helps.

Hello Mike,
Thank you for your explanations.
I understand what you did with your Fish Canyon mission.
I will test a new version tomorrow and let you know.
By the way, what I did is not so bad for my first real Dronelink mission.
The river I show disappear underground near Bazoilles and reappear near Neufchâteau City in France.
My Dronelink Clatique Repository was set to private - it is now public, you should be able to open my link.

I did a new plan following your explanations : problem solved.
Again, thank you for your help.
Glad it helped. Enjoy. 😁
Watched your video and it looks good especially for your first real mission. Time and practice will make it easier to fly missions in so may different ways. Altitude, heading, speed, gimbal, components, POI’s etc. DL can perform so many functions and features which is why it’s an an Amazing app.
Enjoy.
I agree, it's an Amazing app.
Yes, I need to practice, and I will, because I enjoy.
Glad you like it - we would be grateful if you left a 5-star review in the App Store! iOS | Android
I wrote my comment with 5 stars, in (poor) English, and in French.
The name I use on the play store is not my real name !
I played a lot with all Dronelink options / features.
I've made a template to start with some settings, copy, rename it, and move it where I want to fly my drone.
Then, I use the simulated drone, set my drone position and camera view, add a new waypoint + marker and ...
Simulated drone again, repeat above steps to get a new waypoint + marker...
At the end, if camera needs adjustments somewhere, I use simulated drone again and simply add a marker.
It's faster for my needs.
