Too far off course getting annoying

David W. Jones

I get this error message often. There is always wind where I live and I don't know how much is too much but it is never still.  I don't even know if wind is the cause.  My question is are there parameters I can set in the project plan to mitigate this? Thanks!

If the program halts because it is 15 feet off course that is a non-starter.

Try increasing the motion tolerance parameters for distance in the settings and/or slowing down the speed a bit more if possible. Wind can make a big difference especially if moving faster with cross winds at 10 to 15 mph or more. Increase the distance tolerance to 100 feet or more and see if it solves the issue. Maybe this will help.

    Good luck, Mike…….

Or better yet, slow the drone down.

Thanks guys, I'm still learning how to best optimize things and what works best for my drone.
