Relative Flight Plans
Hi!
I would like to request a feature which would allow to call relative flight plans/actions with dronelink.
When it comes to small area mappings with grid and orbit missions, it is sometimes very difficult to precisely plan a mission in order to get the perfect coverage/mission time ratio.
So it would be great to call for a flight path which would be executed relative to the current position/orientation of the drone.
I did some searching regarding this topic and someone asked about something like this before. Looks like it could be doable but not out of the box without some additional coding?

Can you just use the Orbit and Map functions under the on the fly tab in the native app (lightning bolt)?
for basic orbiting yes, but it doesn't allow me to set any parameters like Dronelink.
And as far as I know, it doesn't offer any options for grid-like patterns.
It would be great to have the option to define presets like a 30x50m grid (horizontally or vertically) and to call this action at a certain moment. Same for orbiting with a start/end - radius/height...
This is what the map function is for.
This is what custom functions are for (requires Growth account and javascript coding knowledge).
