DJI Mini 1 - control cable?
It seems there is now some major problem in my Mini. The DroneLink or DJI Fly doesn't find the Mini :-( I have tried re-pairing and everything that I could think off, but still no connection.
Now I am wondering if the short usb cable connecting the mobile to controller could be damaged. It doesn't look like damaged, but who knows. Is there any bullet proof way to judge if the cable is undamaged or not?
I am not familiar with all the USB cables available on the market today, and searcing with Google seems just confuse me. Because here are many Mini 1 users, could somebody on this community kindly give a link to a proper cable, e.g. to Amazon. If there is a longer cable available than this original, even better.
I have an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S10) with an USB-C connector. If I have read correctly, Mini controller has micro USB-B connector. There is also many times mentioned this word reverse. How is this reverse cable type different from standard? What about the OTG, does the cable need to be OTG type? Is the provided, original DJI cable OTG type?
Thanks!

I am answering to my self here. Hopefully my finding can help somebody with the same problem. Now the connection works fine, nothing wrong with the control cable, I found on the internet an advice, that removing and formatting the SD card fixes this problem. It seems many users have experienced this same. My Mini flashed red/green back light and nothing worked then. Now all is good :-)

Huh, that's a very strange problem! Anyway, if you're still looking for a longer cable, the answer to your question is yes, the cable must be OTG to work properly. Standard USB cables are designed for connecting peripheral devices to computers, with the computer acting as the "host" controlling the interaction. When your device connects to the RC, however, it needs to be the host, which a standard cable doesn't allow, but an OTG reverses which end of the cable is the host.
