Smartphone releases of Dronelink: Google Earth preview
Hi,
the GOOGLE Earth integration within the simulation works perfect on PC but neither on Android nor iOS.
Pressing the Google Earth button on Android Devices nothing happens at all, on iOS an text window with rows of coordionates pops up.
In both plattforms the usage of Google Earth from Dronelink is impossible. But it already worked
Please fix, Christian

I just tried it in Safari on iOS and it appears to be working for me.
Hi Jim,
i am running Dronelink on my IPhone 7Plus under iOS 14.7.1.
now back in the hobbyist scheme i can press the google earth button within the preview window but simply a full screen text window with comma-separated rows appears
Are you doing it in Safari?
Do you have the Google Earth app installed?
I have the Google Earth App installed on iOS and Android… using Safari after pressing the EARTH Button appears whether to load the kmz… After pressing the load Button nothing happens
It works on Android straight in Google chrome... But not within the dronelink app
My guess is the embedded browser doesn't like downloads. Will mark it down.
This problem is still there after today's update.. starting Google Earth or writing an kmz within the preview window after pressing Earth button does not work in the native Android App.. in the web release it works
This wasn't slated to be fixed in 2.5.0. If you want this functionality you need to just use Dronelink in your browser on your mobile device (not the embedded webview in the app).
Hi, i installed 3.2.0 both on my News iPhone and my Android device
But it is still not working to preview in Google Warth as 5month ago
Please fix it
Can i Help? Is my Plan allowed to use Google earth aß in the past?
Thx
We already stated what the work-around is:
Given the fact that there is such an easy work-around, this bug is unlikely to be fixed any time soon.
Workaround works... Sorry i forgot this workaround...
Problem solved
Have a nice day
