no connection to my drone

I have looked at the FAQ, and been through the connection guide.

Dronelink will not connect (today) to my Air 2s.  Worked fine yesterday (I did have to unplug and replug the controller cable to my phone) but it worked fine. It does connect to the fly app just fine. Today, I can not get it to connect to the drone.  

I've rebooted, forced closed the Fly App, etc. and  rechecked everything, Still won't connect.  Like I said, it connected yesterday and I flew the drone a bit with it.  

 

Any help would be great.  Thanks.

    Hi Frank. I know you said you forced closed the DJI Fly app but about 90% of the time when pilots have said they force closed and then double checked in the settings they found it was still running. If using an Android OS device you must go into the devices settings under apps and notifications and Force Stop the app. (Suggestion number 3.2) in the connection guide is the most common problem. It is possible that the Auto start application is set for the DJI Fly app which means it may be starting the app when powered up and connected and running in the background which you would not see. If so you can select None instead to make sure no other app is starting up when connected. This way you can open either the DL or DJI app manually. Also you may want to try a different cable because sometimes it may work one day and then not the next. Any slight twisting or movement when plugging in especially if it is an older cable may be why. If all other suggestion don’t work then DL can look into this but as I mentioned about 90% of the time it’s one or more of the suggestions. I’m willing to bet if DL test one of their A2S drones it will connect but anything is possible. Good luck.
