Can Dronelink verify overlap settings before flight?

I recently planned a mission to map a 11.5 ha field. Normally I would fly at 200ft with an overlap of 80% with an Air 2s but as I was within an airport FRZ I had to reduce my height to 75ft. With the overlaps still at 80%, this mission would have taken over 2hrs to complete but ATC limited me to 30mins so I reduced the overlaps to 50%.

Results: https://www.mapsmadeeasy.com/maps/public/2249e3df7e4f44d2bda6c4aa973cc35b

The mission completed but the results using MME were not acceptable due to poor overlap. Is there a way Dronelink can optimize the overlap depending of height or is there a reset button or do I have to re-plan this mission to reset the overlaps to their optimum?

It isn’t clear optimum means in this case. Do you mean for the processing or for flight time? Every situtation is different so not sure there is anything we can do from a code standpoint.

Thanks Jim, I guess I'm trying to figure out if the software can warn you that overlap settings are likely to be poor at a given altitude or would it be best to always use an overlap of 75% and over for any mission.

I don’t think it’s really possible because we have no knowledge of the data processor the user intends to use nor do we know what the use case is for the data at planning time.
