Mini 3, RC-N1, Samsung S9 cellphone
As I'm writing this, I think I realized why the drone PAUSED 1/3 the way during the mission. . . . .
Issue during a mission today. This was a simple waypoint mission in following a road in my neighborhood (1.7 mile loop). I mounted the RC-N1 controller on handle bars on my electric bike to follow behind the drones path so that it would always have a reliable strong communication link (Hands FREE). I wanted to test the RC-N1 as Hands Free on the bike while the drone was always within my VLOS during the mission flight. When I was 1/3 the way into the mission flight, the drone PAUSED. I tried to continue the mission but there wasn't any response. the RTH on the cellphone screen didn't have any effect either. I had to manually land the drone where is had PAUSED.
Now that I'm looking back, I'm wondering during the programming for the flight within controller may had something to do with that PAUSE. My MAX DISTANCE was set to around 2000 ft (in the DJI Fly app).
So now here is my question:
I have the EXPERT Acct: When setting the MAX DISTANCE, is that referenced to where the drone sees the RC-N1 at all times or where the RTH setting was established?
I read a post how the DJI Fly app needs to be on the phone for some features for the drone to see but have it (FORCED STOP) when using DRONELINK app. I always had DJI Fly app in the FORCE STOP mode when using the DRONELINK app.
And where is the MAX DISTANCE in the DRONELINK app. I olny found that in DJI Fly app.

You will need to set the Max distance in the DJI app. All settings stick across apps so once it’s set you don’t need to do it again. I’ve run 3 to 5 mile waypoint missions while riding my motorcycle in a forest area and I’ve never had any issue. I set my Max distance to unlimited. Change it and try again. The distance is from the recorded home point.
Thank you for clarifying this. I wasn't aware that some setting are used from the DJI fly app when the DroneLink app is controlling the drone.
My drone is not performing the mission, what could it be? A camera error appears, but permissions have already been released in the app.
PAULO RICARDO LIMA AMARAL. This thread is a completely different topic. If you search for your topic I’m sure you will find may other threads about camera errors. Very likely you have not set the camera correctly before flight. Check the camera settings in the DL or DJI Fly app before starting any mission. Good luck.
