getting started
So far I did not use Dronelink that much. Now I am going to retire within some months I want to use it more. So I want to learn more about it by looking at some tutorials on youtube. Allready stuck with the first one : Dronelink Basics #01 - UI and frist flight :(
According to this video I should start by adding a destination. I cannot find this option, I have the option to add waypoints, but when I want to add an orbit than it adds several other waypoints.
I am afraid I don't understand the basic of Dronelink.
My goal is to hop from point to point and add several other components between them.
Can anyone explain in words how to do that. ?
Please do not refer to other video tutorials or example flights, I allready watched several others but the first steps are missing (Or I'm too stupid to understand them)

Hi Johank. You’re not stupid it’s just a very powerful app and takes a good amount of time to learn it. When adding any other component it does not add more waypoints just the approach, (dashed line) to the next component. So I’m not sure why you’re saying it adds more waypoints when adding an Orbit. There really is no reason to add a destination, (checkpoint) to get to the next component because it automatically adds the destination to the next component. If you want to add an additional checkpoint then click +add and go to Advanced and you will see many other functions to include a checkpoint. If you need any other assistance then ask and someone here can help. I’d suggest clicking on many of the functions in the Web app to see what other features/functions are in there. It will take time to understand their very powerful app. Hope that helps.
