Air 2s Field of View 4k
I have had my Air 2S for a while, but I recently decided to try the Dronelink app for waypoints. I appreciate that it allows me to simulate flights using a satellite view. The app lets me select the Air 2S, ensuring that the field of view is accurate. However, I’m unsure if it is displaying the correct field of view. I know that everything up to 4K has a certain field of view, and the view is slightly zoomed in when I select 4K. Do you know what the field of view is for 4K on the Air 2S? In Dronelink, you can also add a custom field of view. Thank you!

Hi Bradley. Regardless of which drone the FOV is accurate. The resolution has nothing to do with the FOV so whether 1080, 2k, 2.7k, 4k or other resolution it’s correct. There would be no reason to add a custom setting for the FOV manually. I’m not sure what you mean by selecting 4k and it’s zoomed in.
The FOV is reduced (image cropped) in video mode since digital image stabilization requires it. You might want to take a yard stick to the wall and measure/calculate the FOV with a little trigonometry.
I believe he is asking about the 3D mission preview. If the drone being used is selected then the FOV is correct so there is nothing else to do. If the FOV is wanted for whatever reason then I checked the DJI Spec sheet which indicates a FOV of 88° but just not necessary.
