Urgent: Dronelink Support for DJI Mini 4 Pro

I am the owner of a DJI Mini 4 Pro and was eager to use Dronelink, as I’ve seen numerous positive reviews about it—many even claiming it surpasses Litchi! However, to my disappointment, I discovered that you do not support the Mini 4 Pro, and quite frankly, I cannot comprehend why. Your company stands to profit significantly by supporting the Mini 4 Pro, and if you were truly interested in expanding your user base, you should have already engaged with DJI to expedite the release of the SDK. This would not only boost your software sales but also drive higher sales of the Mini 4 Pro itself, benefiting all parties involved. I purchased my drone intending to use it for inspection and mapping with Dronelink, yet I am unable to do so. The Mini 4 Pro was released in September 2023—by now, Dronelink should have either pressured DJI to release the SDK or developed its own workaround. Given that support already exists for the Mini 3 Pro, why is there no movement toward enabling the Mini 4 Pro? We, owners of the Mini 4 Pro, demand an urgent solution from Dronelink. We should not be left waiting indefinitely for functionality that should have already been prioritized. Best regards, Antônio de Lima

Unfortunately neither you nor we are in a position to demand anything. We’ve asked DJI multiple times and they aren’t interested as they want to push users into their enterprise line to get automation. As for work-arounds, the only option is using a DJI Pilot KML file, which we are looking into, but even if we do allow exporting such a file, using it is pretty painful (again, DJI’s choice, not ours): https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/15947273635091-Download-DJI-Waypoints-in-KMZ?page=1#community_comment_36411537380243

Antônio de Lima. Also I don’t think you understand how any third party app works. If you searched you would have found many threads in this forum explaining it’s all up to DJI, not any third party app developer. DJI must build the SDK before anyone can do anything. If DJI won’t do this for their Flagship drone the Mavic 3 Pro, Classic or any of the two Air 3’s why would they do it for another drone first. Very disappointing but it’s all DJI.
