Capture Dependent Max Speed
Have a on/off toggle labelled m/Speed x Intervals
When switched on, it will adjust the max speed according to the min capture Intervals? That way, if you set a max speed that will put you past the next capture point before the interval, it will automatically slow the max speed to avoid that. Or, it will adjust your maximum allowed max speed so that you can't go past the next point before the next Interval is finished.
Somif you set 5 seconds, you can go from 0 to 5kmh 3 seconds, 0 to 8 kmh and so on... that way, if you're using distance based, you cannot exceed three distance.

Right now it solves the equation as the best speed, given the minimum capture interval you want, and the fastest speed you want to fly. If it isn't getting to a lower interval you just need to increase the maximum speed you are willing to fly.
