Camera settings: shutter speed priority, EV

Weitmann Benno

Hi,

I would like to capture images in shutter speed priority=setting it to1/2000 and AUTO ISO. The only option I got is auto mode, or manual: in manual mode I need to set both iso and shutter speed. I might get it right, but on shady places the images get dark, I need to pause the mission and set iso again, wich is time consuming.

The other problem is that in manual mode EV seems to be locked to -3,0 resulting even darker images. I have tap everywhere on the screen but seems impossible to change that. It is difficult to get nice orthofotos and maps without the flexibilty of shutter speed priority or EV settings!

Regards

Benno

    What drone are you using?

In general, we try to expose all the possible settings in both the UI menus and commands, but if something isn’t available, you can always set up the camera in DJI Fly / Pilot first, and the settings will stick across apps since they are saved in the camera’s firmware.

Thank you, now I remember how I did! I fly with Mini 3 pro.

You cannot change the EV in Manual mode as DJI does not allow this in their firmware. This has been for all drones which use the DJI Fly app. I which we could but that’s the way it is in Manual or what DJI calls “Pro” mode. The best way to find out is to go through the DJI Fly app and see what is available. If it can’t be set in the DJI app then it cannot be done with the DL app.
