Mission History - Photos on Map Locations Anomaly
Hi,
I've been doing a lot of site Orthos (mapping missions) lately with an M3E. I use Timed mode (not Distance mode) - typically 1 sec or 0.7 sec intervals.
I've noticed a couple of anomalies.
1. There is a weird loop of photos taken in one pass end, at random. This loop of photos extends beyond the ortho boundary along the end planned flight path. Here is an example that happens frequently,
2. The second issue is that randomly 8-15 consecutive photos are out of focus during a flight pass. The camera then focuses again and the rest of the photos in the ortho are in-fous again. This has happened multiple times.
Are these known issues and is there any fix for these?

It kinda looks like it's giving me the finger. (Just had to add that since I've gotten no response yet).
Sorry we’ve been dealing with a show-stopper bug: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/37392777050643
On 1, it looks like the Dronelink issued a stop capture camera command and it didn’t get processed by the drone in time, which can happen sometimes, especially if there was a temporary blip in signal quality. This is one area where distance based capture priority is better, but of course if the signal blips happen during the legs with this strategy, you may end up missing captures in the middle of the map. The only do be sure this doesn’t happen is to use onboard, but we don’t support that for the MSDKv5 drones (yet).
2 sounds like an issue with your camera and/or whatever focus mode you’ve chosen. You can set the map component to not use a focus mode (n/a) and then set the camera however you like before the mission.
