Devs? Any comments?
Dronelink already has an on-screen RTH button on the left of the flight dashboard.
As for customizing the virtual sticks, given that they aren’t even turned on for most people (dev mode only) it is hard to justify spending more effort on this feature as we really only consider it an internal tool for developement.
I tried a few days ago but I kept get the pending approval which is happening a lot. Argh… Anyway, as Jim mentioned they aren’t usable anyway since this is an app to fly fully autonomous missions. If you want to change them for whatever reason then just do it in the DJI app. All settings stick across apps so set the controller sticks how you want them but just realize they will only work if using the app to fly manually.
Jim, you can't set a home location on the screen I think and only can be set through the RC.
Listen I understand that this is a development only tool, but I'd like you to understand that people with disabilities love that it has this option. For some its the only way to fly. We need more people or companies to support people with disabilities with these accessibility features. I understand it's resource consuming but someone needs to do it. Dronelink can be the first to a wider audience. It's really not that difficult to justify this. This is marketable too.
Mike we need more controls via phone. This is the only app that allows people to use virtual joysticks. Why not build more onto of what already exists? It shouldn't be this difficult to just add on to the current code. Yes it takes a bit of resources but it will pay off in the long run.
