Dronelink mode on web interface

Hi Jim,
I am going to upgrade to Elite to develop some functions for my needs.

Although the functions are almost completely clear: I have seen that I can even insert previously created components, as well as all the individual commands.

On the App it is very clear how to use the functions, since there is an ad hoc section.

I can't find any example about "mode": mode is executable code that can perform flight control in real time.

What idea do you have for this feature?

Modes are for situations like Follow, where you can't pre-plan the mission and there is no determined end point. The three modes that we implemented in the native app (Follow, Focus, and Orbit) are not open source at the moment, so there isn't really any documentation yet. We will take a look and see if we can publish some version of one of those functions as an example.

Ah ok, they are still functions, that's why in the app I find them among those on the fly.

    Yes, it is all clear.

    Thank you for the answer.

Focus, Follow, and Orbit were implemented as functions that generate Modes. Functions can generate either Modes or Mission Plans.
