Hyperlapse and .. I would like to be involved and comment in a discussion - maybe it's just me but how the heck do you comment on a post??

Doug Fanning

Was looking at some hyperlapse conversations and have questions, but since I have trouble figuring out how to comment on a post - you can imagine my difficulty with my first programming ;-)

If anyone has actually done this can they post the mission?

Would like to do a sunrise or sunset hyperlapse without takeoff

Can I program Hyperlapses to take a specific number of photo's?

Also (future reference) can I program my return to home at 20mph instead of the programmed hyperlapse 3mph

I think usually to do something after the drone has already been started, you can manually take off and start a function written in javascript in the position you want. With javascript you can do whatever you want, like count the shots or count the time.

I don't have the account to create functions yet but I think as soon as I need something I'll enable it.

I saw that there is a hyperlapse component but it must be part of a mission.
I have never tried to create a mission but start it after the drone is already in flight. Probably the Dronelink kernel is smart enough to know that you are nearby and start the mission from where you are.

To continue my talk, I found this thread explaining how to launch a mission in flight.
This means that how you can also adapt the component called hyperlapse that you find in the repository
