Loosing hotspot connection, also "device too slow"
Experienced two issues today during some personal training with a M2P, Smart Controller and Dronelink. First, I was having an issue with the hotspot dropping out. I would connect, everything would be fine and when I would try to load a Function mission, nothing would happen. I'm confident I had good cell coverage as in the same spot I was able to listen to live audio as well as watch a video on YouTube.
It would just drop out, I would go into my iPhone, turn off and back on the hotspot and the controller would connect right back up. But would not do anything with a Function mission.
I did try a second location and it did work OK, so I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.
When at the second location, I did a test function cardinal shots. Was really basic, right above my head at about 55 feet and the radius was less than 50 feet. During the mission, I would get a message "Device too Slow" (or something like that). I would dismiss the error and hit play again and it would continue.
This "device too slow" message came up three times during this one Function.
Any ideas?
Steve

On device too slow, read this. The smart controller is, unfortunately, a woefully underpowered, outdated Android tablet.
Yeah. Well, that's kind of a bummer. I guess the combination controller/display with bright screen and quick "get-up-and-go" is really the only benefit to the smart controller. Maybe I'll sell it and get an iPad and standard controller.
Thank you.
