Spiral OTF won’t launch, no errors

Tonight I tried to run an OTF Spiral mission on my Phantom 3 Standard but it would not launch. I tried multiple times without any luck and there were no error codes. I was able to enter my centre coordinates, the starting point, the ending point, the number of rotations, and the speed. When all the data was entered and I got to the continue button and clicked it nothing happened. I have run numerous spiral missions before on the same drone without any problems. The only thing that has changed is that I have either have a failed gimbal gyro or a problem with the main gimbal PCB and have a new gimbal unit on the way. I was trying to do a light painting mission so the drone camera didn’t need to be used. Does the Spiral OTF mission check gimbal status amd refuse to launch if there are problems? If so, is there any way to tell Dronelink to ignore the gimbal/camera so that the Spiral path will fly? Surprisingly, I was able to fly an orbit OTF mission even though the gimbal was limp and not working. Any work-arounds appreciated to be able to use the spiral OTF mission. Chris

    The next version will have a fix, but until we release it you can roll back to 1.7.3.

    I have rolled back to 1.7.3 on my iPhone and will try it out tonight if the weather cooperates. I will report back to let you know if it is working again.

    I really appreciate you getting back to me - on the weekend, no less - as I have some light painting projects that require the spiral mission, so thank you for your prompt help.

    I tried out the Spiral OTF mission with the rolled back v1.7.3 and it worked perfectly - thanks.
