An idea for two new modes

The reason I was asking about the modes was because I imagined two new ones.

One called binary whereby while the drone is in flight, two points in the sky are set distant from each other and from which moment the drone can only move along that line back and forth, moving the sticks but never moving away. It can rotate and shoot, or photograph.
You never worry about getting on or off, going left or right because the drone rolls along the virtual track.

The second is a follow me but in front (assuming that I have not tried the follow me function). Kind of like having a selfie stick.
You choose a position in front of you, turn the heading so that it is in front of you and from that moment the drone sees you, you can only raise or lower it with the sticks.
I guess the follow me works by updating the home position every, 1, 2 seconds. I don't know if there is a way to understand the operator header as well, in order to have both headings facing each other.

Binary sounds like Zip Line from Autopilot.

As for the selfie stick, you can already reposition the drone in front of you during follow mode. We originally had the option to have it automatically position itself based on your course, but at low speeds with drastic course changes, it would cause the drone to violently whip around to different headings and it was a very disconcerting experience.

    I don't know about Autopilot.

Yes, you are right about the problem that happens at low speeds because the radio heading is uncertain if it is taken from the GPS.

Uncertainty is a thing, but I was just talking about normal walking where you can turn to the right or stop and turn around very quickly. Those types of moves translate to huge position changes for a drone that is 30 feet away.

Ah ok maybe we can insert a threshold for which if you don't walk at a certain speed the drone remains hovering over the position.
Then when you start walking again, he moves.

After all, the camera's field of view is wide enough to afford a bit of a wait.
