Best technique for round trip cargo drop off / pick up
Hello, I'm not sure if this post is in the right discussion area or not, so if I need to repost it, please let me know.
With that being said, I would like to use my Mavic Air 2 and Dronelink Beta to fly approx. 2 miles from takeoff, drop off some cargo using a third party cargo package, then land so that my friend can then load his own cargo to the MA2 cargo package, then return home. It would appear that I might need two different missions to accomplish this, but I am unsure. I just got my MA2 back from DJI after having it lost in the mail twice... so for the most part, I am just getting started with my MA2 and Dronelink Beta after having it lost for more then 2 months.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah...I have to cross a river in the process, and the distance to my friends house where the cargo exchange will be made is just less then 2 kilometers from the home point. And...the trigger for dropping off cargo is actually the aux. Light, which activates a servo motor which in turn pulls/pushes a pin, releasing/securing cargo, respectively.

Before making any kind of attempt with Dronelink's automated system, try lifting and unhooking the load.
Remember that the Mavic Air has a microprocessor that notices if you are using extra weight and saves you from climbing a lot and walking away.
Read the information about it or write directly to DJI.
