transmission settings ?
i am lead to believe there is a setting we can change like on the native DJI fly app for the transmission settings from HD to smooth to help with better video feed on mavic air 2
where is this please as i cannot find it anywhere.

Not sure, you should contact DJI support or look at their manual as this is not specific to Dronelink.
