Managing a large project in Mapper

I have a KML file I imported into the Mapper app. It has roughly 140 randomly placed square 1 hectare plots contained within it, Mapper is treating each plot as a separate component and all 140 plots as one mission.

1) How do I break this up into a number of smaller missions. 

2) Can a copy settings from one component to another. The settings I want for each component are all the same, but are very different from the default settings. I want to avoid having to go through and individually changes the settings for all 140 components.
