Dronelink Flight Log Error

Patrick McDermott

I ran the same mission back-to-back with different camera settings while still inflight. Both logs were automatically uploaded to Airdata, but only the second mission shows actual flight data. The first mission's logs appear "empty" from the AirData side. Is this due to a corrupted Dronelink log, or should I contact AirData? I tried manually uploading the log to Airdata, but it still fails to produce any flight information.

Please let me know if you would like me to send the flight log in question.

The DJI SDK automatically generates flight logs in DJI format, and we just upload those logs. It sounds like there was either an error in DJI's or Airdata's code.

Thank you. I will follow up with Airdata and post any resolution here for the community.

    Response from Airdata:

"We had a look at your flight, and saw that there is no decryption data available in this flight log, due to a DJI bug. We reported this issue to DJI, which acknowledged the issue, and hopefully will fix this in the next SDK release.

Unfortunately, for this specific flight log, there is no way to decrypt it - not even for DJI."
