Ardupilot/Pixhawk support - not very clear on roadmap

imrj

although listed as a feature already in the roadmap, is not very clear when will be available.....ardupilot/mavlink are widely used and growing, and based on solid standards...dissapointed that the focus still just DJI for dronelink

We don't give dates on any features on the roadmap as it is too hard to predict. We do, however, listen to our users, and the most recent survey that we sent had Flight Modes winning by an overwhelming majority, so that is what we are working on currently.

thanks Jim, totally understand, however the totality of your user base is DJI only, so they are unlikely to vote for a feature that means adding support for a platform which  they dont use, while if there were diversity for other platforms than DJI,  that Flight Mode priority might have been something totally different. I have been a paying member awaiting for the Ardupilot platform to be supported, unfortunately doesnt appear to be any time soon.....thank you

We support Parrot as well right now (on iOS) and the majority of the requests for alternate platforms are either Parrot (Android), Autel, or Skydio at the moment. We are also looking at implementing onboard compatibility for DJI and Parrot (which uses the MAVlink format) for uploading waypoints. Technically, MAVlink is an open format, as is the Dronelink mission plan format, so if you are tired of waiting around, feel free to submit a pull request for a converter and we will happily integrate it.
