Dronelink simulator and RTH
I have searched and Googled, but can't find the answer.
The mission is programmed to include "RTH"
But when I run the mission in the simulator (e.g. a simple orbit) with only the one component, the simulator ends the orbit and hangs up at orbit altitude and never executes a RTH.
Also, the mission shows two (components) but the actual mission plan only shows the one component (e.g. a simple orbit)
So, it's a bit scary for newbies programming missions when the simulator doesn't really complete the mission..or is it me?

The mission preview only shows the part of the mission that Dronelink is in control of. When RTH happens, the onboard firmware takes over. The two components are the Orbit (and the approach inside of it, which is a destination).
Hi Jim.... Now I fully understand that makes perfect sense..
I will double check a couple of simple missions and make sure that the RTH flag is turned on in the mission.
Now here's another dumb question, can a mission start when the drone itself has not established home location?
Dronelink missions (that involve motion) require a GPS fix, which generally means a home point would have been set.
