Follow mode
Hi Jim,
I have been beta testing the "follow" mode today. Some inputs from my side, mainly on the graphical user interface when setting up the "follow" mode:
Drone: Mavic Mini
Mobile: Samsung Galaxy S10
When entering der setup wizard, I click "Get started", then I'm supposed to fly the drone to the spot from where it should follow me (actually at first I did not understand that hint "to where it should follow you"). In similar other setup wizards here I have to press a "Mark" button, in this case just click "next" - it's okay for me, but feels a bit different.
Then on next screen, i usually go into the advanced settings, therefore I would like to encourage you to directly display a "yes" and "no" button rather than a drop down menu (same applies later to the "yes"/"no" questions on "Stick input" and "altitude tracking").
During the "follow" flight, it appears to me as if the stick input from the remote control result in moves of the drone quite delayed.
Also it was not really clear to me, how that influences the defintion of the follow mode. If e.g. I define the "follow" mode so that the drone follows me in 30ft height, but then I bring the drone down to 10tf during the flight, does the drone continue to follow me in 10ft, or does it want to go back to 30 ft?
Am I right if I think that during the "follow" flight the drone always keeps the *relativ* position towards my remote control, like a vector (relative position & drone orientation). That means I cannot let the drone follow a third person walking, while I am beside standing and holding the RC, right?
Anyway, great great new feature, you guys are on a very good way definitely
Cheers, Oli

We actually do display a yes/no button on iOS, Android is just lagging behind a bit in this one aspect.
When you reposition the drone while following, it continues to stay in that relative position until you change it again.
As far as following other people, I assume you mean like the Airspace feature from Autopilot. No, we don't have that yet.
