Launch point more than 500 metter from planned
Hi,
I created a simple waypoint plan and set the launching point in the map. It was in a parking lot, so a very precise spot on the website map. When I went to the location I placed my Mavic Mini on the same spot, of course with maybe 1 or 2 meter of error on location and the app says it is more than 500 meter away!!!
It's impossible to use the app this way because all my mission is not even 20 meter distance and this is an error of 500!
Am I doing something wrong?
I had the GPS enabled in my phone.

It is possible your drone had a bad GPS fix and you either need to wait for it to settle or restart the drone to get a better fix.
If you think it was due to map inaccuracy, you can change the base layer of the 2D map, or you can export to Google Earth from the mission previewer to verify it in a different mapping system.
Finally, if all else fails you can use one of the on the fly functions to plan the mission in the field with the actual drone, and then compare what it produces to what you pre-planned.
The drone had a fix with 12 satellites.
About the on the fly functions. It means I can translate all my mission on location so that it matches the exact point off my flight start?
About the map, what is the one that matches the real world?!? Google? If so, why is it not available on the web app?
Number of satellites does not always = quality fix. I was just suggesting waiting, or restarting to confirm that a bad fix was not the issue.
On the fly functions are for situations where you don't know what you want to do ahead of time (either because you have never been there, or the map quality is poor). This suggestion is just a way to prove to yourself how bad or good the maps are after you have run such a function/mission.
Direct integration with Google maps has been a long-standing feature request, and has been discussed at length in many places, including this thread. For now, the options are Mapbox and HERE (in the web planning environment), and Google via export to Google Earth.
Ok I will make some more tests. I want to use the pre planned missions before I get to the place so this massive mismatch in location kills the app purpose.
I understand, but we need more information to understand what is actually going on.
I attached the mission export.

I placed the drone on the floor in the same place as the approach 1, And the app said I was 500 meter away,
Don't know if this plan export is of any help. I was unable to make more tests because of bad weather.
Unfortunately this does not help. You need to go do the tests in the field and report back with results.
Sure. Thanks.
