On the Fly POI mission
I have tried or reviewed all On the Fly missions but can't find a way to create a simple POI mission on the Fly. Am I missing something? What I am trying to do is to fly the drone in a smooth, non-erratic manner, at a constant speed while keeping the gimbal pointed at a POI to capture video “on the fly”.... like the Orbit mission but for a POI. Thanks in advance.

Use Path.
I;m just a hobbyist not an expert but hope this helps: Right click off the actual path and select POI and marker from the menu then place the POI on the POI and the marker on the path where you first want the camera to point at the POI. remember to set the altitude on the POI, eg if your POI is a person then set the poi altitude at 2m to focus on them.
Further to Jim’s reply, I tried the On the Fly Path mission again. The POI option appears only when you select the Advanced Settings option but there is no indication in the descriptor of the advanced settings nor of the mission. It would be good have it reflected in documentation, the descriptor and in perhaps in a video of this mission. It worked really well. David, thank you for your assistance but I think You are referring to the normal POI mission that you develop on the computer, not to the On the Fly mission that you can select in the field.
