Display Screen Blank on Video

Douglas Goddard

I have M2P with SC.  Today did orbit test with camera mode set to video.  Loaded plan and started mission.  Takeoff normal but when start of orbit it started taking photos.  Noticed that the photo/video icons was on photo.  Do I have to manually change this prior to loading/starting mission?  Completed mission, changed icon to video, reloaded plan. When mission reached approach point and activated camera start command the camera display on SC went grey however it was recording video.  This also happened on a previous mission. On that mission I got a google framework error.  On today's flight did not get a similar message.  Rechecked plan and it shows video capture.  Any suggestions as to why the video display shuts down when recording starts.

First time share so hope did it correctly.  Raining here so screen recording is not possible now.

Are you on Android, and if so, did you grant all permissions to the app on launch?

Jim, as soon as weather clears will fly mission and do screen recording.

Greg, same here.  I'm doing some more testing.  If you come up with a solution let me know. Earlier missions were as planned. This recording to SD card and no camera view just started.

Weather cleared.  Loaded plan and started mission.  Expected it to start at beginning however when back to where I paused mission several days ago when I had blank video screen on SC.  Today everything worked - recorded to SD card, had video screen display. Ran another short path mission and all ok.  Got me.  This was second time got the problem and do not know cause or solution but all appears to be working at moment.  Love Dronelink.  Keep up the good work.
