Pictures at waypoints (or at markers)
Another newbie question:
I have laid out a flight path with multiple waypoints. All good.
But I want to stop at each waypoint, adjust the gimbal, and snap a picture.
It appears that I need to add a "marker" close to each waypoint with supplemental instructions as new components of each marker?
Or, do I simply pre-set the gimbal as the first component of the flight? I still don't want to automatically take photos every 2 seconds, just at the waypoints.
BTW, for a Mavic Mini I assume that some of these commands are irrelevant (e.g. camera channel number)

This is just confirming what I learned in your video..Makes sense just trying to do it the "proper" way

Check out the Dronelink video covering he list component. Create one containing all the things you want to happen at that marker and then add the marker to your plan. The marker allows you to select a component to execute at the marker and you can then select the list component you created.
Remember that there are lots of components available from dronelink's repository which will save you a lot of work. Just looking through what they do is valuable education. Among the things provided are the setup commands for the drone and the camera.
Be sure to watch all the tutorial and example videos.
It's true that the mini does not do many of the things that Dronelink can ask for, but most of them are obvious.
Hi Ken,
Thanks..The collection of Vimeo videos is great. DroneLink is like "drinking from a fire hose"..so many component and powerful features.
Flying via a programmed path for the first time instead of manual line-of-sight is damned scary but it seems to work well.
I now have managed basic flight paths and now know to add waypoints and/or markers along that path in order to "do something"
