Iphone 8 "Device running to slow error"
Hello,
I have been using drone link for 2 weeks now in the Florida heat, and have had no issues running the Mavic Mini and Phantom 4 Pro V2 on long 20 minute plus mapping missions. yesterday on a short 10 minute mission to double grid and orbit my house I got the device running to slow error while using the Phantom. I lost all control of the drone and it hovered in place. I was only able to recover it using the return to home button. When I investigated my iphone 8 was overheating. I am always sure to close all apps and restart my Iphone as a part of my preflight routine. I let everything cool down and a couple hours later I ran a short 15 minute mapping mission and it happened again. What am I missing, the phone seems over tasked all of a sudden? This never happened before and the phone remained cool the last few weeks with more complex missions. Thanks!

Using the RTH button is the only hardware override available for the mini (unfortunately):

It is hard to speculate when I don't really know the specifics of each test. Battery level, direct sunlight, ambient temperature, background apps, mission complexity, and many other factors can come in to play.
