Did you install it from Google Play or the direct APK download? Which version are you on?
From Google Play. The version is 1.7.2 (117).
Can you uninstall it and try installing the APK directly?
I have installed tha APK directly but doesn't work. The version is 1.7.2, i have a samsung galaxy s8.
How can i solve it?
Thanks and best regards
Apparently it is an issue specifically with the S8 and the DJI SDK. DJI is looking into a fix, but until then we are considering rolling back a version or two on the DJI SDK to see if that corrects the issue. Will post a link to the beta APK if you want to try it.
Let me know if this beta APK works (should be build 120).
Thanks, I'll let you know!
Hi, I tried the old version but unfortunately it doesn't work.
It was worth a shot. I compiled it with the previous version of the DJI SDK to see if they introduced the bug recently...apparently it has been there for a while. I will report the findings to them, but until they solve it, if you want a refund I understand.
Thank you for your help. I don't want a refund because I tried the app with another device and I really like it.
I hope that they will solve the problem soon, in the meanwhile I will try to use another smartphone. Let me know about any news. Thanks
Hello, I have the same problem. The application crashes about 1 second after turning on the transmitter. I have a Mavic Mini and a Samsung Galaxy S7. I've tried different versions of Dronelink and nothing works. Thanks for the information.
I just installed the latest beta version from Google Play (build 120) on our test S7 and it runs without any issues.
The app crashed when i connected the S7 (edge) or S8 (edge) with the remote controller and i opened dronelink
We have made DJI aware of the issues with the S8, but we have not been able to reproduce your issue on the S7. You can send crash logs to support@dronelink.com if you want, or I can cancel your account and issue you a refund if you prefer.
Today i had a last try with my Samsung s8 and...surprise, it worked!
Did anything change?
I just reinstalled the app from Playstore...I don't know wath has changed. It's quite strange because I did the same several time before and nothing appened
