Record keyframes in flight?
Hi folks...I'm new to Dronelink.
Ever since owning a 3DR Solo, I've been trying to recreate it's ability to record keyframes in flight, and then fly those keyframes autonomously, creating a beautifully smooth and cinematic video.
It worked like this:
1) Fly into a position where the subject/view is framed the way you want.
2) Click a button, and the position, altitude, and gimbal angle are recorded.
3) Fly to the next position, etc, creating as many keyframes as you want (essentially you are creating a "multi-point cable cam").
4) Press "play", and the Solo would fly backwards/forwards as desired, along that path, interpolating beautifully the changes in position, height, and gimbal angle (or you could control the yaw/tilt yourself).
So...
Can I use Dronelink to manually record keyframes the same-ish way as the Solo?
I realize of course that Dronelink can set keyframes before a flight, but to me that method makes it very difficult to do relatively "close in" shots.
It doesn't seem possible, map-resolution-wise, to get, say, a Mavic, "close" to a house/structure using the Dronelink web-based planning tool (or to get framing on smaller subjects EXACTLY right), esp considering power lines, trees, etc, which are difficult or impossible to see on Google Earth maps.
But yet if I could fly to those points manually, in-person, I could make sure I'm going to clear obstacles, and indeed get subjects/views framed EXACTLY how I want.
Thanks...
