FREE FLIGHT REPLICATION
Total beginner here but I see a great product and great community around it. Thanks for all the useful information.
This may be a way-out -there concept but perhaps technically feasible.
I've occasionally gotten smoother results by running a orbit or path free hand, as opposed to using the components.
What if we were able to 'record' the flight data from an extremely skilled pilot as they fly around a point of interest and make the elements of that flight available for others as a component of some sort.
The GPS coordinates and POI would be user selectable, then the rest of the variables would auto-magically interpolate such as speed, gimbal pitch,etc.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, but a sample use case would be if a highly skilled pilot ran a free hand mission around, say a lighthouse. Then we can take that flight data and run the same mission at a local lighthouse.
Pardon my ignorance if it is an outlandish suggestion, but a guy can dream.

We have contemplated something similar, like a replay component. It has been on the list for a while.
